Hillary graduated with honors from UNLV-Boyd School of Law in 2012. Hillary is a military spouse and mother of four who built her firm from U.S. military bases in Korea and England; her family is now stationed in Phoenix, AZ.
Hillary regularly appears before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, Board of Immigration Appeals, and Immigration Court, where she is known for her passionate and persuasive advocacy style. She has also argued before the US Supreme Court and the Nevada Supreme Court.
Hillary has won numerous awards for her representation of immigrants, including awards from the American Bar Association, the William S. Boyd School of Law, and the Arizona Foundation for Legal Services and Education. Her scholarly writings on asylum and cutting-edge immigration issues have been published in some of the nation's top law journals.
Hillary also teaches law at Troy University and the University of Arizona School of Law. She also routinely offers CLE courses for local attorneys seeking to improve their advocacy skills.
Immigration work is near and dear to Karina, a first-generation American whose parents are originally from Mexico. Karine speaks fluent Spanish and English and works closely with the firm's Spanish-speaking clients.
